Quality Management Automation

Measurements become records.
On a borderline result, the agent stops.

How quality management works

  1. 1

    Incoming quality

Incoming lot measurements are compared with tolerance; supplier and product certificate validity is tracked

    Output
→ QC records, lot acceptance decision, current certificate archive
  2. 2

    Production quality

A rejection, complaint or audit finding becomes a nonconformity and a corrective action (CAPA)

    Output
    → Nonconformity and CAPA record
  3. 3

    Nonconformity

Customer complaints are classified and linked to lots and products; the audit file is prepared

    Output
→ Repeated defect report, audit file
  4. 4

    Documents and projects

R&D project spend and progress are compiled and the incentive file is built

    Output
→ Project progress and incentive file

Where it goes wrong today: Measurements go on paper first and into the system later. Certificate expiry is tracked in Excel, so expired documents are noticed late. Corrective actions run by email, and audit evidence is gathered from folders by hand. Here automation raises both traceability and audit readiness.

1 · Incoming qualityRobot

Incoming quality control entry

What it does

  1. RobotTakes lot details from the goods receipt and the result from the device or laboratory

  2. RobotCompares it with the specification and tolerance

  3. RobotRecords the result and prepares the lot as an acceptance candidate

  4. RobotAfter the quality decision, opens a supplier nonconformity record for rejected lots

What it protects you from

Measurements lost between paper and system, and lot decisions made without a record

The brake: where people decide

Incoming quality control entry

The result is ready; it is borderline or a rejection

The quality owner assesses the lot and decides to accept or reject

Certificate and document validity

A new document changes the scope

The quality owner approves the document

Nonconformity and CAPA tracking

Similar cases and a likely root cause are ready

The quality owner sets the root cause and the action plan

Customer complaint analysis

A defect cluster is detected

The quality manager reviews the alert and has a nonconformity opened if needed

Audit file preparation

Evidence is missing or expired

The quality owner fills the gaps and approves the file

R&D project and incentive reporting

The tables and narrative draft are ready

The project owner approves the technical content and amounts

Important: The decision to accept and release a lot always rests with the quality owner; the robot does not decide, it prepares a candidate for the decision. Responsibility for the technical content and amounts of the incentive file stays with the project owner; the agent drafts the narrative and does not apply.

What you gain

  • The quality record is created at the moment of measurement.
  • No more risk of working with expired certificates.
  • Corrective action closure times become traceable.
  • Repeated defects are seen before they spread to customers.
  • The audit file is built from the scope list; preparation no longer takes days.
  • The team spends its time on root causes and improvement instead of filling in forms.

We work out the gain at your volume together in the process review.

Frequently asked questions

Does the robot release lots itself?

No. The robot compares the measurement with the tolerance, records the result and prepares the lot as an acceptance candidate. The decision to accept and release rests with the quality owner; borderline and rejected lots always go to them.

Does the agent set the root cause itself?

No. The agent finds similar past cases and suggests a likely root cause. The quality owner sets the root cause and the action plan; the robot assigns the actions and tracks their dates.

Our measuring devices and laboratory system differ. Can the data be collected?

Yes. Robots work through your existing screens and outputs; your ERP does not need to change. A value that cannot be read, or is missing, goes to the quality owner; the robot never fills it with a guess. Connections are set up through Central Agent.

Does the agent prepare the R&D incentive file?

The robot collects the spend data and fills the tables; the agent drafts the narrative. The project owner approves the technical content and amounts; responsibility for the application stays with a person.
